Sexual Assault Services of Eastern New Mexico

Volunteer Advocacy

We are looking for both men and women in our service area (Curry, Roosevelt, Quay, DeBaca, Harding, Union and Lea Counties) to join our team. If you are a caring and compassionate person who likes to help others in their time of need this may just be the opportunity for you. Our mission is to provide a holistic response to victims of sexual assault throughout Eastern New Mexico and to support and encourage survivor resiliency. The responsibility of an advocate is to provide crisis intervention, and to educate and inform victims of all the available resources. Advocates help to empower victims by providing information so they can make informed decisions about their next step in the healing process.

Next Volunteer Advocate Training:
Nov. 4-6, 12-13 in Portales

If this volunteer opportunity interests you and you'd like be a part of this program we would love to hear from you! Please fill out this application and e-mail, fax, or mail it into the office.
